some Faq's

  • How much does it cost?
    Each building is different, there are numerous factors that affect the cost: Size, weight, how the building was built, site conditions and so on.
  • How long does it take?
    The time it takes to list a building can vary from a day to a week or more, this depends on size, weight and other factors.
  • Will there be any damage?
    It is very unlikely that there will be any damage as a result of the house or building lift. In some cases there may be drywall or tile cracks
  • Can a brick or stone house be lifted?
    Yes.
  • Can a house with an attached garage be lifted?
    Yes. We have lifted many houses and their attached garages.
  • What preparation is needed?
    There are several steps that need to be taken before the house can be lifted. Just some include: Disconnecting utilities (gas, electric, water), removing porches and landscaping, obtaining permits. This is something we will advise you on.
  • Do I need a permit?
    Yes, you should check with your local town/city to determine what permits you need.
  • Do I need to empty the house?
    No, you can usually keep everything in the house while it is being lifted. The only exception is buildings that are built on slabs.
  • Do you install foundations?
    No, we do not install foundations, although we may be able to make recommendations for you
  • Will my flood insurance go down?
    Yes most likely if you have lifted your in house flood zone and have brought the house into flood compliance.
