At High Caliber Contracting, we take on all sorts of lifting projects, big and small, across Connecticut. Recently, we recently helped the City of Fairfield’s Department of Public Works with a tricky job—lifting the lid of a massive digester used in their wastewater treatment system. We designed and implemented a special jacking system to raise the lid three feet off the ground so the team could make some much-needed repairs. Once the work was done, we carefully lowered the lid back into place.
Lifting industrial parts like this digester lid is no easy task, but it’s something we’re well-equipped to handle. Structural lifting isn’t just about moving houses and buildings; it’s also about making sure heavy machinery and equipment is raised safely and securely. When we took on the Fairfield project, we knew we had to get it right. With our experience in commercial lifting, we made sure the lid was raised smoothly and that everything stayed stable throughout the entire process.
This project is a great example of the kind of work we do here at High Caliber Contracting. Whether it’s lifting big industrial parts or performing structural lifts on buildings, we’re ready to tackle any challenge. We know how important it is to pay attention to every detail, especially when dealing with heavy equipment. That’s why we always focus on doing the job safely and correctly.
